City Pages

Well I made it on the City Pages blog this year, I wanted to do my "It What It Is!" in color so that the featured art work would stand out better.  This also decreases my chances of making it to print but it still looks nice on screen!

You can see mine and several comic friends on the site by clicking here!

ArtsConnected

As part of the 25th anniversary for the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden I was asked to share any observations I've had on how people interact in the garden. So I felt what better way to interpret this than a comic!

Stumptown Trade Review!

I just came across this nice article about the Lutefisk Sushi Comic Box I was recently apart of.   Brian Gardes wrote a good description about mini comics, and referred my comic as one of the highlights!

#25 of "IT IS WHAT IT IS"

Check out all the rest on mnartist.orgs blog at: http://blogs.walkerart.org/mnartists/category/it-is-what-it-is-2/

This is the latest "It Is What It Is"- Caught in the Act!  I've been a little busy to keep up with posting these so there's quite a few strips to catch up on.  There all posted on the MN Artist Blog http://blogs.walkerart.org/mnartists/ under the category It Is What It is, (of course!)  I will eventually like to get a page up just for them soon, as well as for my other comic Natural Catastrophes- YES! SO MUCH MORE FOR ALL TO SEE!

Hey everyone! I was recently on college radio station Radio K for my comic "It Is What It Is". It's a fun little bit themed around satire, and definitely would like to thank my editor Susannah McNeely Schouweiler for her great comments!

It Is What It Is - "

Whoa!!! I am getting behind on these, well I've been a little busy and making them is always funner than posting them so I tend to get sidetracked.  But if you really want to keep up with the comic check it out at http://blogs.walkerart.org/mnartists

it Is What It Is - "Tripods"

This is one of my favorites because I pretty much just drew an actual event.

It Is What It Is - "The Slope Test"

Thinking back on this one and past experiences, I really should rate them as orange!

It Is What It Is - "This is Art?"

Ironically, there's a shovel leaning against the wall in one of the Walker Art Centers galleries right now!

I soon found out after this one was published that the janitor has been reading these, and after "bumping" into him, was pleased to see he liked it!

It Is What It Is - 'Oops'

Guards at museums standing next to artwork and look like there about to fall asleep are really slipping into a coma because of these type of scenarios.

It Is What It Is- Gorilla Art

This comic I had a little fun with creating a gif video for the t.v.  Both the gorilla suit and the video are watercolored and then I mess with them in Photoshop.
