This will be one of several fun animation sequences I created for kids to see and be inspired to create their own!

Art Night!
A Good friend of mine, Nick Straight, did an art project last night were we each selected ten or so words from a hat and then penciled in what ever we came up with. Then we passed our sketches so the other would ink in our drawing. Then we passed it back to color them in ourselves.

Summer Comic WorkShop through the Minnesota Historic Society
I had a great summer job this year teaching kids at local libraries how to write and create their own mini comic! This adventure sent me across Minnesota to libraries out in Morris all the way across to Grand Rapids and Duluth, and everywhere in between!
I didn't take any pictures myself, but I got a few from Cambridge elementary, Hinkley, and North Branch libraries. I also made the morning news for Duluth, and was in the local paper in Morris! YAY!

Guided Laser!!!
This is a project I came up with, where I took CD's and created a base out of popsicle sticks (so the CD's were some-what level) and a laser pointer. I divided the kids into two groups so that each group had a laser pointer and their CD's. Then they had to guide the laser until it reached each member of their group's CD before the other group. This project was really fun because it required a lot team work and focus so that each member received the laser to bounce it off their CD and then had to find where it was going so that they could steer it to the next kid in the group.

Nobel Peace Bird
I had the kids at Hwa Rang Do's Tommorrow's Leading Knights create bag puppets that they would use to give a speech on how they would make the world a better place in commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. So to provide some incentive to get up and speak, I created the Nobel Peace Bird Trophy!
